January

We are off to a great start to the year .. 2009!  December and January were fairly warm months this year in Virginia so Christmas and New Year were very pleasant!  I stayed home and Krissy spent two weeks in South Africa.

Bible Study continues to grow wonderfully and I am blessed at the beautiful women the Lord has added to this group.  We are thrilled to have Anthea Gardner back from her trip to Australia!  She is awesome at leading us into the Throne Room during  worship!  Anthea comes from Perth and has been living in the US for about 7 years.

Anthea Gardner our wonderful worship leader.

February

Anton and Renie Botha (who were members at Rhema South Africa for many years) wanted to join me and attend Winter Bible Seminar - Rhema, Tulsa.  We had the most amazing time and I connected with dozens of old friends.  The meetings were powerful and Lynette spoke on Prayer in the mornings.  The evenings were so exciting as Pastor Ken ministered and the Holy Spirit was given ample time to meet with us!  One of the days Anton, Renie and I visited ORU, I really loved seeing the Praying Hands again and while about to take the picture below I noticed that Zimbabwe flag and South African flag were flying next to each other .. I loved the idea of the Praying Hands in the middle of both of them ...pretty significant, I thought!

On the Wednesday night Rhema was celebrating Pastor Ken Jr's '50 Years in Ministry', it was a surprise!

I was invited by Craig and Denise (the children of Pastors Ken and Lynette Hagin) to say a few words to Pastor Hagin on behalf of all the 70's graduates!  I was thrilled at this very special honor!   The story goes like this ...

In 1977  Ray went to Rhema Tulsa to see Ken Hagin Jr. in regard to his attending Rhema in preparation for his calling.  As Ray arrived,  Ken Jr. rushed out the door to catch a plane on a trip out of state, so they did not connect and Ray was terribly disappointed!   Just a month later we got a call from a friend in South Africa who asked if we would not mind hosting an American visitor, Ken Hagin Jr!   Talk about a GOD PLAN!    It was during this time that Pastor Ken confronted me with a YES/NO question as we were driving him to the airport on his way back to the US.  He said,  'Lyndie if I pay for your scholarship will you come to Rhema and you cannot pray about it or think about it, I want to know NOW,  YES or NO?'     Wow ..  that was a shock!
After a short time, I stuttered the word  'YES!'    Oh I am SO glad I said  'YES'!   You NEVER know where your YES will lead you, for me this was into my destiny!

Not only was this night special for Pastor Ken, but it was also a very special celebration for me! I graduated from Rhema in 1979, so this was my 30th year celebration in ministry!  As I got up to share in front of 6000 people I could feel the Holy Spirit all over me and words were just not enough to say how grateful I was for the wonderful opportunity to study God's amazing Word at Rhema!  Needless to say ... there was not one dry eye in the meeting, including mine!

I was invited to a special lunch for the '79 Graduating Class celebrating 30 years!  What a time I had as I went with Sandy Brown who was in our group at Rhema.  Sandy came to Rhema South Africa and spoke for my ladies in 1980!  Can you imagine?  So we had a blast .. meeting all the other students and telling stories that related to various individuals!  Many of the students spoke about Ray and Dennis Tinerino ... now that would take me forever to tell!!  But we laughed and some cried .. it was great!

With Sandy Brown and Bob and Lorraine Scott.  Outside the apartment I stayed in 30 years ago!

Reconnecting with Rhema has been a GREAT JOY to me!  While I was there I kept thinking about how healthy my roots are in God, that my faith is built on a very SOLID FOUNDATION.  Pastor Ken and Lynette asked me NEVER to stay away again and that Rhema, will ALWAYS be my home!  I promised them that I would do my best to attend Rhema once a year!  I shall be returning in February for Winter Bible Seminar so if you would like to come you are welcome .... 2010!

I also decided that I needed to join Rhema Ministerial Association International (Tulsa) and submitted my papers.

March

After a couple of months of prayer and fasting, Krissy and I decided that we needed to return to South Africa for an extended period to spend time with family and friends.   This we would do in April and so the packing began as all my household things would go into storage!  God has a plan and I am listening!

March 29th  - It's my birthday!

The girls gave me a wonderful birthday dinner  and we celebrated together. There was great food and presents and lots of fun and laughter!   It was also a little sad as I was getting ready for my trip to South Africa. The girls have grown so much and I am so very proud of them.  We have had most of our prayers answered and seen ladies come to Jesus, get filled with the Holy Spirit and be healed and delivered!    What a family I have!!

During my absence the Bible Study would continue with Anthea and Michelle Grenfell from Chesapeak Church helping with the meetings!

I love these ladies ...

Leadership Seminar - Word of Faith Church, Ashburn

I was invited by Pastor Jeff Jacobs to speak at a Leadership Seminar he was hosting with his church.   We had the most wonderful time and I encouraged his leaders with regard to a number of issues; to be faithful and to lift their standard of service to excellence,  to trust God for fresh fire, and to see souls to be swept into the Kingdom of God, in their church.  At the end of the seminar I prayed for each one with Pastor Jeff and his wife Karen and anointed them with oil!   It was a great day!  Pastor Jeff made a DVD of the meeting and handed it out to the whole congregation. I am thrilled to hear that they have implemented almost everything that I shared with them .. what a blessing!

Wow ... we were so excited about our trip back to SA and are feverishly packing away!!

Our tickets were booked for April 5th .....

April

Hectic ..thats all I can say to describe the first couple of days of April.  But with the wonderful help of very precious friends we were able to board the plane on April 5th with Daisy our Yorkie in tow!

We arrived in South Africa to be met by my amazing son Joshie and my beautiful daughter in law Tara.  How we got all the bags in the cars was amazing!

The phone never stopped ringing with friends thrilled to hear the news that Krissy and I were home.  We decided to put Krissy into school at Crawford, Sandton where she is having a lot of fun learning to speak Afrikaans!! With regard to all the other subjects she is doing great!

After my arrival it was just two weeks and then I was off to the UK for a 10 day whirlwind ministry trip.  But before I left I got the WONDERFUL NEWS that I am now ....

Ordained by Rhema Ministerial Association International (Tulsa)  ...

This is my second ordination and I am also very proud to be fully ordained by Revival Ministries International and Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne since 2001.  What a heritage ....   HALLELUJAH!!!

April 24 - May 5th  UK

On April 23rd I left for Glasgow to be the guest speaker at 'Aspire'  Womens Conference.  The meeting was packed with over 300 ladies from Elim Churches all over the UK.  I was asked to speak on Aspire2Excellence!
The message was in 2 parts and the ladies were hungry for the Word.  What a marvelous time we had .. many ladies were ministered to, some came to the Lord, some were filled with the Holy Spirit and many who needed comforting were prayed for.  I had traveled with my special friend Julia Derbyshire and Marion Meyers was also there.  Marilyn Glass was my host and the visionary for Aspire .. I also got to meet the team for Aspire.  What a blessing this was and how powerfully the Lord ministered to us.  From here Julia and I traveled to Ilford in the evening as I was to speak in City Gates Church on Sunday in both am services.

City Gates Church has just received permission to replace this building with their new one!

From here Julia and I traveled to Northampton for the evening service where I preached for my dear friend and namesake Pastor Lynda Heron at Elim Northampton.  I spoke at her ladies conference 'Unmasked' and we had a powerful time with ladies coming to the Lord and many being filled with the Holy Spirit.

Lovely Lynda Heron. Speaking at Unmasked!

It is with unveiled face that we see God!  Our hearts open and our lives open to all that He has prepared for us.  And it is with unveiled face that we walk in the life speaking truly and dealing truly emanating the love of Christ where ever we go.  It is HIS FRAGRANCE that the world should experience and HIS TOUCH that the world should FEEL through us!  We never need wear a mask when we know HIM as HIS GLORY will SHINE through our lives!

On the Monday night Pastor Jason Heron asked to cover two sessions speaking to his leaders.  I LOVE speaking to leadership in the church.  Having had over 700 full time workers at Rhema South Africa I find that I have a good understanding of how to encourage and motivate the Pastors and their team.  I spoke about excellence in ministry, passion, faithfulness, having a servants heart and believing for miracles in each service.  At the end of the seminar I prayed for those passionate about winning souls to come to the front .. it was awesome the way the Lord touched them!  FIRE fell and great things were accomplished in the Spirit.

On Tuesday morning Lynda and I headed out to Bath where I was to speak at Elim Bath's first ladies meeting EVER in 27 years!!  Wow ... I felt highly privileged!  Jean Townshend is the Pastors wife and she hosted us.  We had a great time with these lovely ladies!  At the end of my message I walked around the room and prayed for
various ladies as I was led of the Lord.  It was great!

With Jean and Lynda and some of the lovely ladies at Elim Church Bath.

With my friend Michelle Di Somma in Bristol.  Michelle and Gerry Pastor Carmel Church which has grown tremendously with a Christian School, Bible School and a great church.  In these pics my camera was on auto and kept taking pictures randomly!  Needless to say,  the middle pic says it all!  The last pic is how it should be done!  Gerry was on staff with us at Rhema SA and was a great lecturer in RBTC in the 90's.

It was time to leave and so I took a train to my last stop, Exeter.  Marion Meyers was at the station to meet me.  It was SO good to see her again.  Marion has setup a ladies breakfast for me to do on the Saturday and then both Sunday Services at The River Dream Center, Exeter.

The arrival board at Exeter Station.  Preaching to the ladies about 'Leaving the Past Behind'

This ladies are so very special!  Many have been there each time I have spoken over the years.

Michael and Marion are wonderful friends and its great to see how they are pressing on with ministry.  Marion is about to be ordained with Elim Churches and she is also currently on the team with Aspire!

Sunday am and pm were a great blessing!  I spoke about the vital need for believers to walk in the Spirit. At the end of the service I prayed for the passionate soulwinners .. it was awesome!!  God is setting hearts on FIRE!

It was time to leave the UK .. after enjoying the beautiful Exeter Coastline and Stonehenge!

My trip to the UK was outstanding!  My Father is lifting my ministry to the next level and I am so very excited about it.  I have a number of new invitations that I hope to fill in March 2010!

THE LAUNCH OF   S H I N E!

Preparations are full steam ahead for the launch of  S H I N E  -   'Building The Lives Of Women'
I have been blessed to see the tremendous support for this ministry!  We had our first planning meeting on Saturday 23rd and we all agreed that the LORD is going to build this house!  It will be founded on the POWER of PRAYER, the POWER of the WORD and the POWER MINISTRY of the HOLY SPIRIT!

Each time I have launched a group similar to this I have seen the LORD do AMAZING things in the lives of the ladies!  Super natural testimonies of personal issues being put to rest, tormented fearful minds finding peace, marriages healed, bodies healed, families coming to the Lord, promotions in jobs, homes sold, children being delivered from drugs and alcohol,  broken hearts mended, barren ladies conceiving,  .. ALL kinds of healings, deliverance, provision being released ,  as the FAITH of the Ladies increases to believe GOD and HIS WORD!   I KNOW this is of THE LORD

I want to say,  ... 'LADIES,  THIS IS YOUR TIME TO SHINE  ... the FAVOR of the LORD is UPON YOU!  I KNOW because of the PASSION burning inside of me for you to RISE UP in the name of JESUS and SHINE  for the GLORY of the LORD is upon YOU!

Eph 5:14 ..."Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."

In all the 20 odd years that we have known Pastor Lyndie, we have found her most recent visit with us in May 2009 at ‘The River Dream Centre’ (Exeter, Devon, UK) more powerful, impacting and relevant than ever before. How we love her ability to make the Word of God so challenging and yet so encouraging. Our congregation found her to be real and understanding of the ever present difficulties that life dishes out to us all. Without a doubt we can recommend her ministry to any church but especially to those in Europe as we need her excellent and anointed ministry to help us with our end time mandate from Heaven.

I want to recommend Lyndie McCauley to you and your ministry. She came to speak to our church leadership in March 2009. The day was absolutely fantastic for the leaders of our church. Lyndie has a wonderful anointing on her life to connect with people in a way that allows her to speak strongly into their lives and be incredibly well received. Our church leadership said the only problem with the day is that not enough of our leaders were present for the meeting. God used her to turn the tide in our church and bring us from a plateau in our growth into a time of health and growth once again. She also spoke prophetically over our ministry and helped us capture our vision once again.  I am very thankful for her life and her investment into Word of Life. You will be blessed by her ministry!

" Lyndie McCauley, is a women of FAITH!  She preaches the word of God uncompromisingly and unhindered by life's trials.   The Lord uses her to minister to others  in a life changing way you will  see salvations,  healings, baptism of the Holy Spirit, you can expect  the Lord to do a miracle in your life! In over more than two decades of ministry we have had the  privilege of having many people minister in our church  but Lyndie stands out as someone who, not only brings a Rhema word, but someone who we’ve  come to know and love. She is full of good fun, big hearted  and exudes a passion for the Lord that is infectious.

Lyndie flows in an anointing that is based confidently on the power of the  Lord Jesus to change lives. She shares out of the wealth  of her experience of more than 25+ years in ministry.  Her close walk with the Lord is obvious as Lyndie not only ministers, she imparts.  Her ability to be “real”  and open springs from  trusting the Lord through difficult times.

Our women’s ministry and  wider church  has been impacted  and enriched through receiving  her ministry.  In Lyndie you’ll  discover  a woman who has known  what it is to fight  the fight of faith and prevail!
