Thoughts To Treasure
When difficulty gets me down, WHO is going to help me?
Isaiah 41:13
For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, do not fear;
I will help you
Daily, we are confronted with decisions and challenges that help to frame the future of our lives. In many of these instances we know exactly what to do and we have a favorable outcome.
But then, there are times when we are totally alone in the difficulty, feeling confused and inadequate about making any decision at all. Just facing the next day is a great challenge in its self!
It was at a time like this in my own life that this scripture became so very real to me. I went so far as to print it out and stick it up on my mirror in the bathroom so that I could be reminded of WHO it was that deeply CARED for ME.... !
Now, I could have shrugged this promise off as meant for someone else ... or I could take HIM at HIS promise and stand on His Word as if my life depended upon it!
You see, HE cares more about YOU than YOU care about you! HIS plan for your life is far more than YOU COULD EVER SEE OR BELIEVE. To top it all, HE has promised to help YOU EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!
I am the Lord, YOUR GOD,
WHO takes hold of your RIGHT HAND and says to YOU
DO NOT FEAR ...... I WILL HELP YOU!
If I want anyone's help, I DESPERATELY NEED THE LORD'S! Over and over again this scripture gives me life to hold on to. Just to know HE CARES about my outcome GIVES ME PEACE!
If you will LET HIM, HE will hold YOUR hand and LIFT YOU UP!
HE WILL HELP YOU!
